Established in 1982 as a subsidiary of Arıkanlı Holding Transportation Group, Yurtiçi Kargo quickly became the leading express delivery company of Turkey with 17 regional offices, 30 transportation hubs, and over 725 branch offices at 81 cities of Turkey and Turkish Northern Cyprus. Yurtiçi Kargo currently has a workforce of over 10,000 employees and over 2,500 transportation vehichles.

In the international express delivery and cargo market Yurtiçi Kargo partners with the national postal delivery provider of France, La Post, streching its international reach to 230 different countries worldwide since 2003 – almost anywhere in the globe.

For its achievements in quality of service, Yurtiçi Kargo was awarded with TS EN ISO 9002 Quality System Certificate in 1999 and TE EN ISO 9001: 2000 Quality System Certificate in 2003. Yurtiçi Kargo is the first cargo company to receive these certificates in Turkey. Since 1999, Yurtiçi Kargo has been reaching and passing all international benchmark standards (for the cargo delivery market) in the areas of operations, informations systems, and human resources.

2004 Completion of ERP and performance management systems

2005 Completion of KOPS, an operational system that connects all Yurtiçi Kargo units on a real-time basis

2006 Launch of packaging and payment delivery solutions

2007 New marketing programs, including ”Yurtiçi mobile and ”Haval?”; Establishment of Yurtiçi Kargo Rally Team

2008 Launch of ”Preferred date” optional service

2009 Launch of fully functional online customer service,”Self servis”
